Would You Look at that Cover!

http://nigelpbird.blogspot.com/2011/08/pulp-ink.html Now how cool is that cover? Still can't quite believe I'm in there as I've never in my life watched the movie, Pulp Fiction, which was the basic theme for this anthology.

Ha! That's funny that you've never seen the movie. It's pretty entertaining stuff.

And you're right about the cover -- a bang up job by Mr. Nigel Bird.

Ahhh.... so, Nigel is the artist! I just left a comment over there... that is an AWESOME cover!

Congratulations Sandra, on your story! Can't wait to start reading this.

It's a great cover, Chris! And you and Nigel have done a wonderful job gathering talent and putting this anthology together. I'm so excited to be part of this project.

I will confess that I went to Youtube and watched the scene for the phrase you gave me, "allow me to retort", so I did see some of the movie :)

Thanks, Veronica!

Thanks, Oscar!

Always a pleasure to be sharing pages with you, David! Are we going to be seeing a Cash Laramie story?

That is an awesome cover; congrats on the story. If you want to know pulp, never mind Tarantino. Read the real stuff, from the '30s and '40s. I recommend The Black Lizard Big Book of Pulps.

...Of course, I said that before noticing you already had a link to the Black Mask site. Excellent.

I think Tarantino is a big attraction for the younger neo-noir writers, Manuel. I have "The Big Book of Pulps" and enjoy reading the early pulp writers. My writing tends more towards their era than the Tarantino influenced work. But it was great fun writing a story for that theme.
